Why to marry someone...??

We agree to it or not, it is a fact that we all keep hunting for that one person, that special one, with whom we can share everything. When I say that word everything, that not just means the sharing of bed, sharing of surnames or sharing of property. It means a lot more than that. It means sharing that wonderful smile each morning after you wake up. It means sharing the bondage of being two humans but one soul. It means sharing that special touch which makes you forget all the worries of your life. Marriage is that strength which brings you above your daily degradations. It motivates you to keep moving. It helps in realizing your goals of life.

But having said all that, never ever be in any sort of a hurry, to select that special one. Because, your impatience might fetch you, someone with whom later, you might not share all the things, mentioned above. Also, the correct time and correct place are very important in this regard. Because they play a crucial role in the sustainability of the marriage. I won't say, love marriages are better or arrange marriages are better. But what really matters is, that the boy and the girl should know each other, thoroughly, then only a yes or no should be a question. A very wrong concept, prevalent these days, is knowing your partner, after your marriage. Which I think shouldn't be happening. Meeting someone just once, and deciding things for the whole life, is like, trying to adjust yourself, for the rest of your life, according to that person. Adjustments aren't wrong, but then this generation has very little scope of adjustments, and hence this practice should be avoided.

A better way is to invite the family, for a week or so, to your place, and let them see, what kind of a  person you are in reality. Also the same could be repeated, vice versa, to get assured, that things are right at first place. Thus, this heavenly bond, can be made sustenable, in true sense. Happy Wedding to all my dear friends....!!! :)

Movie Marketing is a tough job

Ever since a concept or a story is devised, its creator starts working hard, day and night, for making it a real success, after implementing it in the form of a movie. Not every piece of master art, is appreciated by the audience,  then and there after release. Some of them have to wait, till the movie gets telecast on the national television. Others have to wait, till it gets some mouth publicity and the DVDs sales improve upon. So basically, it might not be, that shit of a movie, but it all depends, how well you present it to your target audience. For example, Dhobhi Ghat from Kiran received so bad reviews from the audience, but people who watched it months later, appreciated not just Amir's efforts but Kiran's too. So now we know how important it is to market yourself, according to the consumer requirements, and his behavioral patterns.

For movies with small budget, and not so known star cast, it gets even more difficult, to attract the minimum no of eyeballs. Even if the concept, story and actors have it in them, to make it work. For example '16' is a kind of a movie which might attract audience, but only to the extent, of downloading it via torrents, or watching it on YouTube some day later. So does it mean, makers of such movies, do not get anything out of such ventures? My answer is No! they do get. What is expected of them is, to make a good movie. Which even if doesn't attracts viewers to theatre, should atleast reach them comfortably, via other sources like torrents and YouTube. And whenever they come up with their next venture, people already know that these guys would have come up with the something good, like last time. Though it isn't that easy to face against big banners, and market your product in a competitive segment like this. But still, making your challenges into your advantage is the need of the hour, and whoever does that, wins the race.
So in short, make a good product and make sure you wrap and pack it properly, and serve them according to their requirements. If that's done, no one can stop your movies, to be watched by your target audience.

Marketing starts with you...!!!

First impression of a person matters, but that does not mean, it is the only thing that matters. Similarly each one of us, is a Marketing professional, in one way or the other. We keep selling ourselves, in the form of knowledge, skill sets, attitude, aptitude, looks, humor, tricks, care and heaven knows what not. So those who think, marketing is only for those who are into management, are one of those, very ordinary thinking minds of this world. Social networking these days, is the best way to market yourself. Projecting yourself as a person, what you want people, to perceive you as. People carry different marketing strategies, on different Social media platforms. It could altogether, act as a case study for many, 'how people manage these strategies'.  Thus it all adds up to, seeing so many different shades of marketing, all over the place where we live.  For next time, when you see a person anywhere, you got to believe that he must be marketing in one way or the other. :)
